Tapio WIRKKALA (1915-1985) "Leaf dish" in hallmarked silver signed TW for Tapio Wirkkala, +-11 x 9.5cm. Note: In the '50s, Tapio Wirkkala's design reflected nature's own forms, such as leaves, mushrooms and melting ice. Tapio Wirkkala won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale in 1954, the Grand Prix and the gold medal in 1960.
