Note: In 1892, he co-founded the artists' society "Pour l'art" and became a member of the artistic circle L'Essor. In 1895, he exhibited at the Salon de La Libre Esthétique. A friend of Émile Gallé, he worked mainly in Flanders and on the Belgian coast.
