Note: David Choe is an American artist, muralist and graphic designer renowned for his vivid, energetic and often provocative paintings. His work is characterised by his expressive brushwork, bright colours and raw, unfiltered energy, often incorporating elements of graffiti, street art and pop culture. Choe's artistic journey began in the early 1990s, when he was introduced to the art of graffiti while living in Los Angeles. He quickly embraced the medium, using public spaces as his canvases to express his creativity and individuality. This early exposure to graffiti was to have a profound influence on his subsequent artistic development. In the 2000s, Choe's work gained recognition beyond the graffiti sphere.
