Two RARE Chinese blue-ground silk embroidered chair covers, each panel is intricately embroidered in silk floss threads to depict a four-clawed front-facing dragon worked in couched gold thread in the middel, below with froth-capped waves crashing against tall peaked rocks, two dragon tossed atop the froth-capped waves, all reserved on a dark midnight-blue silk ground. 19/20th century.
