Note: Ikuma Arishima (有島 生馬, Arishima Ikuma?) (November 26, 1882 - September 15, 1974) was the authorial name of Arishima Mibuma, Japanese novelist, essayist and painter active during the Taishō and Shōwa eras. He also used Utosei and then Jugatsutei as his other author names. After returning to Japan in 1912, Ikuma joined the Shirakabaha literary circle and helped produce the first issue of its literary magazine. He published poems and short stories in the "new style" in the magazine, which he used to introduce the work of Paul Cézanne to the Japanese public.
