Attributed to Pierre MIGNARD (Troyes 1612 - Paris 1695) Study of legs. Black stone and traces of white chalk highlights on gray paper, tear at lower right and small stains. 19 x 13.2 cm. NB: Annotated "Mignard" lower right in pen and brown ink. Our drawing can be related to the position of a cherub in the upper right of the painting "La famille du grand Dauphin" in the Musée National du Château de Versailles (see : Pierre Mignard, La documentation française, Paris, 1997 p.212, fig.2, rep.).
