WAGENAAR, Jan (1709 - 1773)
Amsterdam, Johannes Allart, 1790-1796. 21 vol. in-4°. Bound in contemporary paperback, beautifully unified. Portrait of the author, folding maps and engraved plates. Complete copy (not collated). Used condition: small tears, stains; some endpapers partially torn, presumably to remove handwritten notes. Back cover of volume I missing, but text present until the end of the privileges. A complete and homogeneous set of an important history of the United Provinces.
