Kukri / Khukuri knife, Nepal, 20th century, beautiful large Kukri knife, curved and chased steel blade, one side decorated with an elephant's head, moon, sun, stars and flowers; on the other side of the blade, a fire-breathing dragon, blade length 25cm, engraved bone handle inlaid with ebony and brass, diamond-shaped pommel, leather-covered wooden scabbard with brass trim, chased copper decorated with sun, flower, fish and frieze, and bears several shaped plates and knobs decorated with dragon, bull and laurel wreath, total length 42cm, scabbard contains 8cm miniature Kukri, overall good condition (wear).
