Decorated in iron-red and gilt on underglaze blue; each jug with a roundel containing the letter "a" (alcohol), surrounded by peonies and chrysanthemums issuing from rockwork, the foot with a band of triangle design, the loop handle and the neck with stylized Karakusa design, a pinched spout, 18th Century.
