Lionel VINCHE (1936-2025) - Lot 74
Lionel VINCHE (1936-2025)
"Le vitrail d'un saint patron et d'une nana nue", 2 compositions on verso, acrylic on canvas, signed, titled and dated 2007 by the artist. 145 x 125 cm. Note: Max Loreau, philosopher and secretary to Jean Dubuffet, wrote in "Lionel Vinche la joie songeuse": "He takes no path that has been prepared or suggested by others. He stubbornly follows his own path, nothing but his own. His painting is apart, rigorously apart. His world is nobody's but his own. What could be rarer?
