Serge VANDERCAM (1924-2005) - Lot 75
Serge VANDERCAM (1924-2005) Untitled (Oizal), very large and important ceramic made of assembled panels, signed "Ceramiche San Giorgio Albissola", wear, +- 120 x 215cm. Bibliography: ...Mirko Orlandini was Vandercam's partner for over ten years. Like the potters at the San Giorgio d'Albisola factory, he created numerous starting points for Vandercam's bestiary. At the same time, his taste for poetry and writing led him to collaborate with several figures on the literary scene, including Joseph Noiret and the brothers Marcel Piqueray and Gabriel Piqueray. Active in art education, he was a professor at La Cambre before heading the École des Beaux-Arts de Wavre in the 1980s, contributing to the transmission of contemporary practices...
