Henri EVENEPOEL (1872–1899) Watermill in the Campine. Pencil drawing on paper, bearing the stamp “H.E.” in the lower right corner. 13 x 20 cm. Provenance: Collection of Madame Maurice Evenepoel, the artist’s sister-in-law. De Vuyst Auction, December 13, 2003. Note: This drawing was part of a collection of works by Henri Evenepoel to which a handwritten letter dated July 15, 1944, was attached. The letter indicates that Charles Demey authenticated the drawings in the album by affixing the “H.E.” stamp to them.
